Daniel doesn't have it now - maybe only when he's had a really hard out day and he's over stimulated/tired etc but we do seem to have finally turned that corner with him.

Ava has been getting it every night, just half a capsule stirred into rice milk and she's zonked in 20 mins. Without it, she's still still wide awake at 11pm and we were getting desperate (it's not like we didn't know what to do about sleep issues, just nothing worked!) . She was so sick over winter but since having the melatonin and getting the amount of sleep she needs, her overall health has improved 100%.

sleep makes such a huge difference doesn't it. With Mikko I have to be careful not to let him nap during the day. He's pretty worn out after morning preschool so if I went out in the car he'd nap and then he'd sleep badly and then he'd fall asleep at preschool the next day and so on and so on.
I have no idea why melatonin doesn't work for him though. I think his walking at 2am ish is simply behaviorial. If I go on and give him melatonin when he wakes it's even worse as I am his stimulant Laughing He loses it when I leave again and ends up screaming, whacking the walls, stripping etc etc.

we've got our script now, luckily got our normal doctor who's pretty easy going and gave me the script for both boys even though George rarely needs them. Just got to do the order now.

Tried that, not strong enough for Ian and it tastes awful! Having some issues with ordering melatonin atm, their website won't let me order more than one bottle so I'm waiting to hear back from them; have emailed them the script so they can see we have authority for more.
